My digital publishing 3 are photography. I will talk about how can a photo makes it meaningful. Photography is the art of producing persistent images by recording light or other electromagnetic radiation, electronically through image sensors, or chemically through photosensitive materials, such as photographic films. It is widely used in science, manufacturing and commerce, and more directly in art, film and video production, entertainment purposes, hobbies and mass communication. In ancient times, people passed a box with a hole through which light could pass to get an image. (Leonardo da Vinci n.d.)
My photos can be divide into three parts which is facial expressions, handshakes and shadows. Facial expression is a very important means of non-verbal communication. Expressing various emotional states through changes in eye muscles, facial muscles and mouth muscles. Some details can be seen from facial expressions, both two have smile on their face. They look like old friends they haven’t seen for a long time. And also their eyes are full of cunning, they are not really what they seem to be. By shaking hands, they can be regarded as mutual respect. But their handshake wasn’t so serious. It seemed like a perfunctory attitude. The most importantly part is about their shadow. Shadow is the best place to embody humanity. In the hands of two shadows, their other hand held a knife. Although their faces were full of smiles, they were still thinking about how to harm people behind their backs. It also implies what humanity is and how they effects human actions. People often feel very disgusted with these people. No one wants to have a companion who is always thinking about how to harm himself. A picture that looks ordinary but has a meaningful meaning. Through some hints and actions, photographic pictures will bring some meanings, which will make the pictures more meaningful. Digital publishing three according to different asspects to reflect the meaning of a photograph. At the same time, a photograph sometimes contains deeper meanings, which can often have an impact on people. Also, photography renflects the multi-modality, it includes the images or texts on it. This will bring the different meaing to people.

According to the digital publishing 2, the video talks about how the technology change people’s life and make it more convince. The first part of the video talks many years ago, people have to use the teeth brush by our hands. This may cost people a long time, people can save more time to do other interesting things. The most important thing for that, people will miss some secret place, this will left some dirty things in our mouth and cause the halitosis. However, with the rapid development of the society, the first electric toothbrush was invented in 1945(Philippe-Guy Woog). Electric toothbrush is a kind of toothbrush. It can produce automatic and rapid brushing vibration, oscillating back and forth or in a rotating way to achieve the effect of cleaning teeth. This kind of automatic electric toothbrush help people save more time on the daily life and also let people more care about the health. The second part is about how people contact with others and how can be improved with the development of the technology. More than a decade ago, people according to the mail in order to have the communication. People wrote their words in the mail and the mail to the people. This would spend a long time to transmit their mail. Most importantly, the mail will be peeped at or even tampered, so that this is enough safe. With the development of Technology, mobile phone was designed out. People can according to the mobile phone to easily communicate with each other. This technology change let people have an easier life and also make it more convince. Technology is great when it is used to promote unity, goodness, health and safety.

Through this video, I want to point out the algorithms in the ‘Final cut pro x’ app. The function of this app is going to edit video. The purpose of this app is helping people more easier to gather short videos together into a new one. ‘Final cut pro x’ has built-in professional color matching tools, including special color checker with color wheel, color curve, hue/saturation curve, and key frames for adjusting and correcting over time. For this app, user only need to choose the video that they want and then insert to the app, there will several functions for user to choose, like time acceleration, colour of the background and also can insert fonts in videos. Moreover, I consider about will this app leak the secret. It seems like it will not, this app just like a media library and user can store their favourite video. The rapid development of the algorithms improve people’s life. However, algorithms sometimes will still involve user’s private and It’s possible to sell your personal information. For my video, its talks more about multi-model, my video has music, texts, image. The purpose of my video is going to illustrate a conflict in dream and in real world. In real world, there are no milk in the fridge but in dream, it has. According to this video, there are two kinds of music, one is showing happiness and the other one shows the sadness. Both of this music is going to show my emotion which is from happy to angry. This conflict can be shown by the music. Different sounds sometimes will cause the different feeling. Here is my video:
Step1 : insert video in to Final cut pro x

Step 3 : Insert the music

Step 4: Gather all short videos into a new one

Nowadays, Internet has become a necessary part in people’s daily life. The most important part in Internet is algorithms. Algorithms can searching the whole information through the internet and show what you want in a quick time. Algorithms has the ability to enable and assign the information is perceived by the users. Algorithms can be seem as a calculation, according to a series of calculations and predictions, even can get the movement of a celestial body across the sky. For the algorithms, they have a special command structure, when people put the key words in, there are several kinds of results will pop out for people to choose. This essay is a conceptual map and
there are six dimensions of public relevance algorithms which is patterns of inclusion, Cycles of Anticipation, The Evaluation of Relevance, The Promise of Algorithmic Objectivity, entanglement with practice and the production of calculated publics. Algorithms has the significant influence to the public, people need to understand how they works and where are they appear. People use algorithms to propaganda their information and also people has the quality to receive this information. There will be several kinds of selection for people. There are several searching engine on internet, both of them have algorithms in it. When people search the keyword on the internet, there will be kinds of results for people to choose and then they can choose the result that they most want. Algorithms improves people’s daily life and also people realized their are still some defect for algorithms. The algorithms are still in people’s grasp in many ways.
The Digital Divide and Remote Aboriginal Communities
In modern society, Internet use has become common, even one mobile per person, however, in some remote are, a part of people has never access to the internet. In this article, Rennie introduced how the Internet walks into people’s lives and improve their living conditions. This article talks the benefit of the internet and people’s attitudes towards the internet. There are two extremes in Australia, one is modern city, the other one is remote area. In remote area, there is only one laptop among the twenty-two permanent residents of Mungalawurru, but it wasn’t connected to the internet. This would mean that it was a lonely town and lost contact with the outside world. The author considered that the participation of government programs, people start to realized the benefit of the internet. In the past, there are only few people know what is internet and ever access to the internet. For example, a wealth of data suggests that people in remote ares have become polarised against those in urban centres. Resolving the communication infrastructure in remote Australia also illustrated how the remote communities connect to the outside world. When the government start their programs, government try to help residents, show them how to do something, listen to their concerns, and explain repeatedly how they can keep in touch in the future. This article largely reflects the importance of the Internet and how it has improved people’s daily life. As the years went by, this article still will be very useful, improving the internet in remote communities can not completed in a short term. Government should be pay more attention on it.
Multi-modality
With the rapid development of Internet and TV broadcasting technology, a huge and increasing number of social and program videos have been produced. Video media provides a mixture of image, sound, text and action, which has a high amount of information and influence on the audience. In this article, an efficient and robust video copy detection method is proposed for large-scale video data processing, which combines the temporal continuity and multi-modality of video. The author consider that In order to improve the tolerance of length change in video relocation, an effective dynamic path search method is proposed to detect target video clips, and a highly compact audio fingerprint and visual sequence feature are combined in a flexible frame.
The author pay more attention on the the detection of short sequences of targets from large video streams and long video streams, which is typical in practical applications such as advertising surveillance. There are always some uncertainties when testing so that the author always need to test them online. The latest development of multimedia technology promotes the development of content-based VCD Technology. For example, huge amount of practise and experiment shows that audio has become an important part in the video clip matching. Single mode is not enough for large-scale VCD or retrieval, which requires high efficiency and efficiency. In addition, the characteristics of video data in applications enhance the necessity of using multimodality. The using of the multi-modality made the video become more colourful. In this article, an effective VCD scheme using both auditory and visual signals is proposed. We extract efficient audio fingerprint and visual sequence features, and use them together.
Last week’s lecture taught us the difference about the literacy and digital literacy. Both of them are using a language to provide and receive information. However, literacy is a way to communicate, understand and explain. Cornell University offers a definition about the literacy, Digital literacy is the ability to find, evaluate, utilize, share, and create content using information technologies and the Internet (cited in Terry Heick, 2015.) Digital literacy is more detailed than literacy. Digital literacy uses more media and internet to communicate and understand. Moreover, we learn about the ‘WordPress’, people can share about their blog on it. This is a way for people that can show more their interest and their daily life. People can communicate more with people that they have the same interest and share about their own ideas. This class is different from the last semester. This semester is focus on the practice. Practice can always improve the skills that you possess. In the last semester, we learn about the information from the book. In this semester, we can according to the practice and improve our disadvantages. I consider this class will focus more on the internet in next classes. Internet is a necessary part in people daily life. Terry Heick, 2015, the definition of Digital literacy, viewed in 12 July 2019 https://www.teachthought.com/literacy/the-definition-of-digital-literacy/
In the week3, we learned about how to make the video and what is the algorithms. The lecture was very dedicated to teach us how to make two video in to one. He taught us we need to find two videos on the youtube and then copy their URL into YouTubedoubler. This software is amazing that you can share the video with other people, even you can enjoys others videos. The most importantly is algorithms. The lecture taught us what is algorithms, where can we find the algorithms. Algorithms can searching the whole information through the internet and show what you want in a quick time. Algorithms has the ability to enable and assign the information is perceived by the users. In week 3 classes, we also learned about the the state of Australian internet use, Digital Inclusion, access and literacy in remote indigenous communities and the policy incentive to build digital literacy. There are more than nine out of ten Australian internet users consider that internet has become part of their daily life, they also think this important or very important. According to the lecture, there are still part of people in remote area has never access to the internet. Even the local residents in remote area has never know what is the laptop and the internet. When the researcher first time to visit there, only one house of twenty-four have an internet connection. The using of the internet has become a serious problem, moreover, the week 3’s reading introduced more about the using of the internet in remote area. The classes let me feel a lot, in every place, the will be extremes appears. People cannot achieve the real equal, also this cause Australians do not have equal levels of digital literacy.
In week 4 class, we learned about the Tetrad of media effects. Marshall McLuhan published a book that summarized his views on the media in a concise media effect tetrad after his death. A tetrad is a social process that explains the adoption of technology by dividing the effects of technology into four categories and showing them simultaneously. McLuhan designed the tetrad as a teaching tool to express his rules in interrogative sentences. ‘What does the medium enhance? What does the medium make obsolete? What does the medium retrieve that had been obsolesced earlier? What does the medium reverse or flip into when pushed to extremes?’ The law of tetrad exists at the same time, not continuously or in time, which enables the questioner to explore the grammar and syntax of the media language. Visually, the tetrad can be depicted as four diamonds, forming an X with a medium name in the middle. The two diamonds on the left side of the tetrad are the enhancement and recovery properties of the medium. They are both graphic properties. The two diamonds on the right side of the tetrad are obsolete and inverted. Both diamonds are grinding. Moreover, we are going to put attention on the Assignment 2. The dead line of the Assignment 2 is Friday night, and also the assignment’s percentage is very important. In week 2,3,4, all classes talks about the digital community, the theme of this class is digital community. All the knowledge that we learn is around the class. For the further class, I consider that the coming class will talk more about the digital community. I am very interested in this course and I think I can learn more knowledge in class.
This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.
You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
